Specialty bean-to-cup coffee
Coffee has many health benefits. Rich in antioxidants such as polyphenols, it helps reduce cellular damage and inflammation. It also improves cardiovascular health by promoting blood vessel function and lowering blood pressure. In addition, coffee provides vitamins, minerals, macronutrients and dietary fibre, which help intestinal transit and improve digestive health.
A genuine natural stimulant, the caffeine contained in coffee has numerous health benefits. Thanks to its ergogenic properties, it optimizes muscle function and improves physical performance, mainly by blocking the action of adenosine on the nervous system. As a result, it increases awareness and concentration, reduces pain perception and improves muscular concentration. What's more, caffeine helps the use of fat for energy purposes, delaying the depletion of glycogen reserves. This prolongs the duration of physical activity and delays the emergence of muscular fatigue.
The aim is to find the optimum dosage to obtain results without discomfort. To start with, a dose of 3mg/kg is recommended, which can be increased to 6mg/kg or even 9mg/kg if well tolerated.
At Shoukâ, our specialty coffees are freshly roasted by us in our Chamonix-Mont-Blanc factory, using the bean-to-cup principle.
From Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ethiopia and Rwanda, our coffees are an invitation to travel to the heart of the terroirs and traceable plantations that promote sustainable and social farming practices. We have carefully tasted them and selected them according to their aromatic profile, so that you can discover a wide range of flavors and enjoy a unique tasting experience.
Shoukâ offers some fifteen specialty coffees, available in bulk or bags, in beans or ground on demand, guaranteeing optimal freshness.
Bean-to-bar chocolate bars
Like coffee, cocoa is rich in antioxidants such as flavonoids, a specific subclass of polyphenols. Known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, they have beneficial effects on cardiovascular and brain health. Cocoa also provides essential minerals such as magnesium, iron, zinc and potassium, which are vital for muscle function, energy production and electrolyte balance. Finally, cocoa contains dietary fiber, which helps digestive health.
Composed of theobromine and phenylethylamine, chocolate can stimulate the production of endorphins and serotonin, which can improve mood and reduce stress and fatigue. So, depending on the individual and their consumption, chocolate can help improve sporting performance.
At Shoukâ, our bars are handcrafted in our Chamonix-Mont-Blanc factory, using the "bean-to-bar" principle.
Sourced from Tanzania, Ecuador, Brazil, Cameroon, the Philippines and Venezuela, our beans come from small, often organic, plantations, selected for their botanical variety and aromatic profile. We carry out all the manufacturing stages at low temperature to preserve the beans' nutritional and taste values: we roast, crush, grind, conch and temper each bar. These steps are carried out by our chocolatiers with the greatest care, using only organic products and no additives, lecithins or preservatives to satisfy your taste buds.
