Chamonix Mont-Blanc is 2 hours from Lyon and 1 hour from Annecy and Geneva. At the border with Italy and Switzerland, it's a charming mountain resort with all the services of a small town.

Public transport in the Chamonix Valley

USE BUSES AND TRAINS TO GET AROUND THE VALLEY: IT'S EASY AND ECONOMICAL! The Chamonix Valley is served all year round by a public transport network comprising various bus lines and the Mont-Blanc Express train.

Thanks to the partnership signed between the Club des Sports de Chamonix and ATMB (Autoroutes et Tunnel du Mont-Blanc), the 40,000 people who come to attend or take part in the event are better supported. Since 2021, more than 8,000 people have benefited from the shuttles set up by ATMB and the Mont-Blanc Marathon.
