How to get to Chamonix
Chamonix Mont-Blanc is 2 hours from Lyon and 1 hour from Annecy and Geneva. At the border with Italy and Switzerland, it's a charming mountain resort with all the services of a small town.

Getting around during the event
Thanks to the partnership signed between Club des Sports, ATMB (Autoroute et Tunnel du Mont-Blanc) and the SNCF the 40,000 people coming to attend or take part in the event will be better supported.

Runner transportation
For the start of the 90KM and the 42KM du Mont-Blanc a free shuttle bus and train service ON REGISTRATION for runners and their companions to reach Chamonix without using their car.

Transport for accompanying persons
To enable accompanying persons to encourage runners at the various refreshment points, a reinforced transport system with dedicated shuttles is planned during the event.
90km du Mont-Blanc - Friday June 28, 2024
This year, a free train and a shuttle service ON REGISTRATION will be available to enable accompanying persons to reach Le Buet.
- Train: Departure 6:23am from Chamonix train station - Arrival 6:55am in Le Buet BOOK NOW!
- Shuttle: Departure 7.15am from Chamonix train station - Arrival 7.45am in Le Buet BOOK NOW!
Then, free shuttle buses will run between Le Buet and Emosson from 8.00am to 11.00am, then from Emosson to Vallorcine from 11.00am to 4.00pm. Once in Vallorcine, you will be asked to take the train back to Chamonix. So don't forget to bring your Guest Card!
23km du Mont-Blanc - Saturday June 29, 2024
Free shuttles ON REGISTRATION will run from the "Médiathèque" stop in Chamonix to Montroc between 8am and 9am. BOOK NOW!
For the return journey, free shuttles will run between Montroc, the Flègère gondola and the Planpraz gondola from 9.30am to 11.30am.
42km du Mont-Blanc - Sunday June 30, 2024
Free shuttles ON REGISTRATION will run from the "Place du Mont-Blanc" stop in Chamonix to the Tour between 7:15 and 8:30 am. BOOK NOW!
Then, free shuttles will run between Le Tour and Vallorcine from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, then from Vallorcine to Chamonix from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Public transportation in the Chamonix Valley
The Chamonix Valley is served all year round by a public transportation network comprising various bus lines and the Mont-Blanc Express train.
Mont-Blanc Express train
The SNCF line serves all villages from Servoz to Vallorcine.
The train is free for holders of a Guest Card (given to you on arrival by your accommodation provider) or a Via'Cham Card (residents and workers of the Chamonix valley).

Bus - Chamonix Mobilité
The Chamonix Mobilité transportation network serves the entire Chamonix valley, from Servoz to Le Tour.
The bus is free only for Via'Cham cardholders (Chamonix valley residents and workers).
However, you can benefit from discounts of up to 50% on bus tickets if you have a Guest Card (given to you on arrival by your accommodation provider).
