Where to follow the runners?
To follow the runners of the 90km du Mont-Blanc
After the 4:00 a.m. start in Chamonix, take the train to the hamlet of Le Buet for the second feed station on the route, where you can stay for a few minutes. You can also take the organization's shuttle bus to the Emosson refreshment station. Take this shuttle back to Vallorcine to watch the runners go by at the 4th feed station. From there, take the train to Montroc, where a line 2 bus will take you to the Tour at the 5th feed station. Then take line 2 back to Les Bois, the last accessible feed station. Finally, line 2 will take you back to Chamonix to follow the finish of the race.
To follow the 42km Mont-Blanc runners
Don't miss the start! Go to the Place du Triangle de l'Amitié and watch the sunrise over the Mont-Blanc massif.
Then board the organization shuttle or line 2, heading for the 12th km Tour feed station.
Then take the organization shuttle back to Vallorcine for the 2nd feed station.
Continue on to Chamonix to watch the race finish.
To follow the 23km du Mont-Blanc runners
Go to the paragliding area for the start of the race, then take the organization shuttle to the Montroc feed station. This refreshment station is only accessible by public transport.
Then head back down to Chamonix and take the Planpraz gondola directly to the finish.
Transport for accompanying persons
With the aim of relieving congestion in the Chamonix valley and reducing environmental impact during the event, we have set up a shuttle system in collaboration with our partner ATMB especially for accompanying persons.
This system allows you to follow your runner to the various points along the route without using your personal vehicle.
What's more, public transport is free from Servoz to Vallorcine on presentation of a guest card, which can be provided by your accommodation provider on request.
