A solidary Marathon
The Mont Blanc Marathon supports causes close to its heart!
Supporting patients and medical research
Through its solidarity bibs, the Mont Blanc Marathon is committed to 3 organizations working to support patients and medical research:
- Vaincre les Maladies Lysosomales, an association that supports the 3,000 French people affected by one of the 53 lysosomal diseases, rare genetic diseases that cause multiple disabilities.
- Trail Runners Against Muco, an association based in the Chamonix region, which for over 20 years has been taking on extraordinary sporting challenges to raise funds for Vaincre la Mucoviscidose.
- Ultra Sports Science, a non-profit endowment fund that helps finance medical research into serious illnesses affecting athletes, to better understand and prevent them.

In 2026, 115 solidarity bibs will be sold for the benefit of our 3 partners.
Bringing exceptional projects to life for Chamonix's young athletes
Since 2016, we have been selling bibs, the proceeds of which are used to finance exceptional sporting projects for children who are members of the Club des Sports sports sections.
Thanks to the €70,000 raised in 2025, nearly 300 young people from 12 sports sections have been able to carry out sporting projects that they would not otherwise have been able to: team-building or discovery courses, participation in tournaments and competitions, meetings with top athletes, etc.
In 2026, 160 solidarity bibs will be sold to benefit the sports sections of the Chamonix Sports Club.

Promoting inclusion and social diversity
The Mont-Blanc Marathon is a unique opportunity to bring solidarity to life and to promote the values of inclusion and social mix espoused by the Club des Sports. We are working with 2 social and socio-medical organizations to make volunteering accessible to all:
- The association Aller plus Haut, located in Sallanches, which supports adults with disabilities,
- The EPDA de Prévention spécialisée, located in Chamonix, which provides educational support for young people in difficulty.
