Louison Coiffet Finally Wins the 90 km Mont-Blanc Race
After an exceptional battle lasting more than 9 hours against Ben Dhiman and Cristian Minoggio, France’s Louison Coiffet finally won the 90 km Mont-Blanc race, three years after finishing second in the same event.
Staying focused despite the heat and 6,137 meters of elevation gain, he retook the lead on the climb up to Plan de l’Aiguille before holding on until the finish to win in 9h37'22".

Candice Fertin-Baccon Shines on Home Turf
In the women’s race, France’s Candice Fertin-Baccon put on a masterclass in her first ultra at this distance. After an intense battle with Audrey Tanguy during the first half of the race, she pulled away at the 40-kilometer mark to cruise to victory.
At the finish, she secured a remarkable 24th place in the overall standings, a testament to her outstanding performance against a particularly strong international field.

The Vertical Kilometer Sets Planpraz Ablaze
In the late afternoon, it was time for the traditional Vertical Kilometer, a truly explosive challenge covering 3.8 km with 1,000 meters of elevation gain.
Amid an electric atmosphere between the Planpraz Fan Zone and the many spectators gathered on the slopes of Le Brévent, the discipline’s top specialists competed in a time trial format that provided nonstop excitement.
