Mini-Cross: like the grown-ups!
Mini-Cross
The mini-cross is a free race for youngsters, with distances ranging from 800m to 3km, depending on age category.
The start is on the Aire des Parapentes in Chamonix, and the courses take place in the Bois du Bouchet. Children will have the opportunity to take part in the race "just like the grown-ups": medals will be awarded to each child at the finish, and a tombola with lots of prizes will be organized at the end of the races!
Several starts are scheduled, depending on race distances and age categories:
800m: 2:00 pm
2km: 2:15 pm
3km: 2:45 pm
Number withdrawal
Numbers for the Mini-Cross will be collected from the Vaincre les Maladies Lysosomales stand, located in front of the EMC2 hall on the Place du Mont-Blanc (Chamonix):
- Thursday June 25, 2026 from 9:30am to 7pm,
- Friday June 26, 2026 from 9:30am to 7pm,
- Saturday June 27, 2026 from 9:30am to 1pm.

Category "Eveil athlétique" (U10): children born between 2017 and 2019 (aged 7 to 9) with 3 starts:
- Children born in 2017
- Children born in 2018
- Children born in 2019
2 km Mini-Cross
Category "Poussins" (U12): children born in 2015 and 2016 (aged 10 to 11) with 2 starts:
- Children born in 2015
- Children born in 2016
3 km Mini-Cross
Benjamins" and "Minimes" categories (U14 and U16): children born between 2011 and 2014 (aged 12 to 15) with 4 starts:
- Children born in 2011
- Children born in 2012
- Children born in 2013
- Children born in 2014
