In 2026, the Mont Blanc Marathon is strengthening its environmental commitments with concrete measures right from registration:
✅ 10% of race numbers reserved for residents of the Chamonix Valley (Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Vallorcine) coming by public transport (train or bus), on foot or by bike.
✅ 40% of race numbers reserved for participants committing to coming by train or bus.
✅ Mandatory carbon offsetting for all registrants, calculated according to the round-trip distance between home and Chamonix, and paid toAFA.
