Please note, within the framework of the health measures applicable at the time of the event, modifications may be made to the refreshments.

The Mont-Blanc Marathon races are in semi-autonomy. Semi autonomy is defined as having the capacity to be autonomous between two refreshment posts, not only on the food front but also that of clothing and security, being able to adapt oneself in particular to problems encountered or envisaged (bad weather, physical problems, injuries…).

Only the runners carrying a visible and duly controlled race number have access to the refreshment posts.

These year, refreshments will be composed of :

Drinks : still water, sparkling water, Cola, tea.

Food : fruit jelly, stewed fruit, cereal bars, energizing bars, crackers.

Every runner seen throwing down their litter along the route will be penalized. Trash cans are provided in large numbers at every refreshment post and must be used.

Individual assitance is tolerated 20m before and 20m after each refreshment station. Any assistance outside these areas is prohibited, as is support in the race.

Shoukâ is a coffee and cocoa roasting manufacture located at the heart of the Alps in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Taking over the iconic spot of an old bar restaurant, the Shoukâ is a unique concept store in France that offers a double-roasting activity: “bean-to-bar” chocolate as well as “bean-to-cup”, specialty coffee. Our objective consists in gaining control and supervision over our whole production process, within a warm and welcoming environment.

We offer a large panel of freshly roasted products showcasing authentic taste and premium quality, all while respecting the principles of eco-friendliness, circular economy and fair recognition and pay.

Our mission is to showcase through the sale of our products or education that coffee and chocolate are considered as “super-foods” as they possess several antioxidant benefits and may enhance your sport performances when consumed in reasonable amount.

Specialty 'bean-to-cup' coffee

Coffee offers a tremendous amount of health benefits. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and micronutrients, coffee contributes to your daily fiber requirements and improving intestinal transit as well as your renal function. A real natural stimulant, the caffeine contained in coffee is said to reduce the perception of effort and would even facilitate breathing. The ideal consumption to benefit from its advantages are as follows: 3 cups of coffee or 400 to 450 mg daily.

At Shoukâ, our specialty coffee is freshly roasted by our in-house roaster in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc following the standards and regulations of the “bean-to-cup” philosophy. From Bolivia to Costa Rica, Colombia to Ethiopia or even Brazil, our coffee is an aromatic invitation to travel around traceable plantations and lands promoting durable and eco-friendly working ethics. All products were taste tested and carefully selected according to their flavor profile to ensure a large variety of choices and to ensure an exquisite tasting experience for our consumers. Shoukâ offers a selection of 15 different specialty coffees packaged or in bulk, in beans or grounded on demand, guaranteeing optimal freshness.

'Bean-to-bar' chocolate

Like coffee, cocoa contributes heavily to your daily fiber requirements, improves intestinal transit, and facilitates digestion. Dark chocolate ensures a healthy blood circulation and helps prevent cardiovascular diseases. Even more than green tea, chocolate is a great antioxidant, rich in salt minerals, magnesium, iron, zinc and many more. It helps fight against fatigue, stress, anxiety, to go even further it contributes to the well-being and happiness of our customers!

At Shoukâ, our chocolate bars are made in an artisanal way in our Chamonix-Mont-Blanc manufacture in respect of the “bean-to-bar” philosophy. We select and source our cocoa beans from various small and more often organic plantations according to flavor profiles and characteristics. We then take care of the whole production process at low temperature to preserve natural aromas and benefits and offer authentic flavors: we roast, we crush, conche (maintain temperature) and temper each chocolate bar with utmost care. Our chocolate makers favor organic products and do not use any additives, no lecithin, or preservatives. Shoukâ offers a range of 25 chocolate bars coming from 6 different countries to satisfy each and other’s taste buds!
