42km / 23km : SANITARY PASS MANDATORY
To all participants of the 23 km and 42 km du Mont-Blanc
Decree n ° 2021-850 of June 30, 2021, prescribing the general measures necessary for the management of the exit from the health crisis requires the organizers of sporting events from this day to require a health pass for the sporting events of more than 1000 participants!
Despite all the measures put in place by the organizing committee, including in particular:
- The establishment of starting waves of a maximum of 280 trail runners every 10 min,
- Mandatory appointments to collect your bib,
- Cancellation of price giving ceremony,
- Relocating departures from the city center to the paragliding area to avoid gathering of people,
- The ban on arrival and departure areas for accompanying persons.
The Haute-Savoie prefecture requires the presentation of a health pass to collect your bib on the 23 and 42 km races. The health pass control will take place at the entrance to the bib collection tent.
You will be able to present:
- A negative RT PCR or antigen test dating less than 48 hours before the start of your race or
- A certificate of recovery from Covid 19 or
- A vaccination certificate (2 weeks after the 2nd injection for Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca vaccines); 4 weeks for the Janssen vaccine; 2 weeks after the injection in people with a history of Covid.)
One of these documents may be presented via the Tous Anti Covid application or in paper format with the presence of a QR code.
Attention for the runners of the 42 km having made an appointment on Thursday July 1 and who will present an RT PCR or antigen test to withdraw their bib, thank you kindly to register on the slots of Friday July 2 or Saturday July 3 to respect the 48h delay!
We invite you to carry out these tests before you come to Chamonix. However, for people already present in Chamonix, you will find attached the contact details of pharmacies that can welcome you for antigenic tests from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
